I'm not a girl who likes to use makeup. Unlike my twin, I only use some kohl, lip-gloss and mascara when I go to work or go out with friends or for special occasions. I am lucky enough to have long, dark thick lashes so any kind of mascara should do for me without hassle! However, not any mascara does the job for me. I have sensitive eyes, which can get irritated easily. I discovered that problem when I first used one of my sister's mascaras; it looked good, but a few minutes later, my eyes stared to itch; when they got watery, I started to scratch my eyes (couldn't help it) and ended up with panda eyes! I thought maybe I should look for ... Read the complete review

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara - Waterproof I have made it quite clear in my previous reviews on eyeliner / mascara and make up removers, that I am very much an eye makeup type of girl. Mascara has been the bare essential I cannot live without. I am lucky to have long lashes, but being fair haired, they need mascara to even be seen! I came across Max Factors false lash effect mascara in Tesco as part of a deal. Usually priced around £8 I picked this up for £6.50, and thought, considering I need something to replace my Maybelline define a lash (which is awful, see previous review) and it was by Max Factor, but cheaper than the usual price that ... My best friend Maria is gorgeous. She is half Somalian, half white, and kind of glows in the dark, with a natural golden tanned colour which most people would kill for! If I didn't love her so much I would be sickeningly jealous! Blessed with stunning good looks, fabulous teeth and a killer smile -why she should have been a Bond girl back in the 90's, if the producers had had any sense! What the lovely Maria hasn't got in abundance however, are long eyelashes - and being very ultra-chic in her appearance, always, this facial fact has always bothered her to death... Now what, I may hear you ask, has this to do with one of the illustrious Max ... Read the complete review

After all the rant and rave of this product from my friends and here on dooyoo, I thought I just have to try it! I am often picking up new mascaras here and there as like most girls I am always looking for that something better, that bit more extra special, the one we dare to say is PERFECT! The product and manufactuer: This product is made by Max Factor and is there False Lash effect mascara, which claims to give you full lashes yet with a natural look. Each bottle / tube contains 13.1ml. The packaging and bottle: Well, before I start this is the biggest and roundest looking mascara tube I have ever seen. It is really chubby towards the ... My entire motive for wearing mascara is to achieve what could be described as 'the 'false lash look', (i.e. eyelashes that curl dramatically without the crusty clumpy mess I usually to achieve when using mascara that promises such a feat), and on hearing upon the release of a new Max factor mascara, I must admit I was thrilled! Believe me I am no make-up expert, but I cannot describe enough my love for their previous 'Masterpiece' and even more so 'Masterpiece Max' mascara finding that they both defined and lengthened my lashes significantly giving a subtle yet intense effect, and what's more it wasn't for a ridiculous amount of money. They genuinely seemed a ... Read the complete review
