Recommended as a mascara but not as an alternative to false lashes (Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara)

I bought this mascara from boots when maxfactor were giving away a free gift if you spent so much on their makeup and to be honest I was more bothered about the gift than the mascara! As far as mascaras go this is probably the best one that I've used, however I think that this is down to the size of the brush rather than the mascara itself. The brush is large and quite thick and therefore it is easy to get right to the root of the lashes and really extend them. This product does not, however, give the illusion of fake lashes and I strongly suggest that if you want fake lashes then to buy some proper ones. Saying that, I do like the colour and texture that this product gives to your lashes and find that curling my eyelashes before using the mascara gives an even better effect. I would buy this product again as it's one of the best that I've used but just don't be expecting miracles when it comes to looking like you're wearing false lashes.

Price: around £10.99 in Boots. Quite expensive but better than most of the cheaper ones.
