Good Mascara, however will stick to applying false lashes (Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara)

Advantages: not too expensive, lightweight strong brand

Disadvantages: does not give false eyelash effect

I use one mascara for going out and a different one for everyday use as I like a dramatic effect for night-time and more subtle for the day.

However due to the credit crunch I thought it would be great to find one that does both. Max factor is known for its value for money and I opted to look at their range rather than my usual expensive range. I also wear fake eyelashes so I do expect a lot from mascara claiming for be a false eyelash effect.

This mascara has attractive packaging and is light weight to use.. You need at least 2 coats and it is great for splitting the eyelashes. The wand is thick and easy to use. It is waterproof however easy to remove. I think it is very good for everyday wear, however not give the impact looks enough for evening wear.

This mascara failed on being a good all-rounder however it is good value for money. There are definitely better ones out there for night time wear. I still do not believe there is mascara out there that is good for both day and night, also I don't think there is a mascara yet that makes natural eye lashes look as good as false lashes.

Summary: good mascara, good value, does not give false eyelash effect
