Advantages: Great coverage, doesn't clog pores, stays on all day, little goes a long way

Disadvantages: Can go a bit orangey if too much is applyed

Like every other woman out there, I was trying to find the perfect foundation. You know the sort.. stays on, stays matte, doesn't look cakey, doesn't need re-applying. Well, I think I've found the closest to perfect that's possible in a foundation- MaxFactor's Lasting performance! They say you get what you pay for, but with this you get more! At just around £10 it's amazing. Better than any Clinique or any other premium brands I've ever tried!

*Packaging*
Like a lot of foundations, Lasting Performance comes in a squeezy 35ml tube. It's a clear tube so you can see the shade inside which is very useful. At the top of the tube there's Maxfactor's logo and under that it says 'Lasting Performance' in front of a gold star. On the back of the package there is the ingredients. I like this style of packaging because it's easy to see when the foundation has run out and the name of the product is clearly stated so that when you need to buy some more it's easy to find it.

*Using The Product*
I think it's easiest to apply this product with fingers. What I do is squirt a smallish blob on my finger and put a blob on each cheek, my nose, chin and forehead and then spread out evenly. It's easy enough to spread out.

*The Results*
Lasting Performance does what it states- lasts for eight hours and resists touching off onto clothes. It gives amazing coverage without looking cakey which is a first- I've never known that with foundation before! I have very Very VERY oily skin and at first I thought that this product wouldn't be for me because it's a liquid foundation, but surprisingly it stayed matte for a long time.

*Conclusion*
I think this is a product that is perfect for all types of skin and you can't go wrong with a highstreet price and premium quality.

Summary: If you want excellant coverage with no need to re-apply then this is for you.

I've always chosen colour adapt over lasting performance but your review makes me want to try it!
