Good for an even skin tone (Max Factor Lasting Performance)

Advantages: Covers acne scars well

Disadvantages: Not so good at covering up freckles

A bit about my skin -

I have very fair skin that when i go out in the sun i get hundreds of freckles. I also suffered from very bad acne which i now control with a contraceptive pill (Dianette) this has caused my skin to become very dry. I also have some acne scarring to my face, especially around the chin area.

The Foundation -

I personally think that it is one of the cheap ones. Make up is extremely expensive at the minute and you can pick this up about £6 online if you look well. Boots have quite a lot of offers on as well and a lot of the time there is incentives where you can spend so much in a range and get a free gift. Always worth checking the website or nipping in before you actually buy.

I have used the Soft Beige colour foundation.

In my experience i have found that this foundation covers up my acne scars well, is good for bags under the eyes, does not cause any irritation to my face and is not an oily product and therefore there is not a lot of shine with this foundation.

However, i hate my freckles and in the summer time this foundation is hopeless at covering them up. The foundation itself i would say lasts about 4-5 hours. Possibly because i do have a tendancy to touch my face a lot. However Max Factor do say that it can stand up to rubbing and touching, i havent found this to be the case.

All in all i love this foundation in the winter time when i havent any freckles because all of my scars are extremely well covered. In the summertime its not so great.
