Advantages: long lasting
Disadvantages: two lippys to carry in your bag!!
I decided I would be a little braver this summer and shy away from the bronze and browns and get something a little fruiter so I needed to transform my make up bag.
As I run my own cosmetics company I get to try lots of different products and I have been using the max factor stay put lipstick which I love.
I thought I would try the lip finity this time as loads of my customers had been telling me how great it was.
The one I bought was a light pink (the number escapes me). I followed the instructions on the packet, waiting before applying the top coat, which is not always easy when you just want to quickly re apply but it was worth it because I applied it at 8am before starting work and it still looked great after a full day at work, It did not need re applying all day.
For a tougher test I wore it on a night out, I applied it at 7.30pm, then went out for a meal, had two courses, drinks, on to a club, more drinks, a few cigarettes maybe a few snogs too, got in at midnight and the lippy was still on. I did re apply it half way through the night but that was only to get the shine back, the colour was still there but the shine had faded.
Price;
I charge £7 for the lip finitys that I sell but these are Japanese's export and the numbers don't match the English ones so my customers have to look for the colours they like. My price is the cheapest I have seen them, chemists and high street prices range from £9.99 to £15.99
Still I think this is well worth it.
The range of colours is great for everyone, max factor cater for all styles and ages, my gran uses this when she goes out!
Max factor has out done them selves with this one, I was always a fan but I really love this one.
Summary: great for days at work or night out

- 21/03/07 L'oreal Colorstay lippy is also fantastic. It stayed on even after coffee, which usually removes many of the long wear lippys. |
