Advantages: lasts on lips for hours, lovely choice of colours

Disadvantages: none in my opinion

I've got to know my lips quite well over the past 56 years & know what they like & dislike in the way of lipsticks & glosses. Whilst some seem to disappear as soon as applied & others cause stickiness or dryness Lipfinity by Max Factor is my all time favourite.

It comes in an attractive box which has a small circular seal (DO check as I bought one once that had been used!) & the 2 tubes are as shown in the photo. The one of the left is the actual lip colour (matt) whilst the one pictured on the right is the gloss sealer.

It's not the cheapest of lip colours at around £10.49 but it lasts ages because you don't need to apply much & it really does last over 10 hours as claimed.

The colour choices are vast & include light shades through to corals, various shades of pink through to plums & browns. I love the deep red which is probably best for night time but the shades seem to suit most colourings & all seasons.

It's so simple to apply - just pull of the top of the lip colour & unscrew until a little shows at the top & use as you would any lipstick. The 'finish' glides over the top & then, in my experience, you're good for the rest of the day as it doesn't need topping up until the evening.

I was lucky enough to be treated to a cruise with my daughter a couple of years ago & Lipfinity came with us & travelled to many different very hot countries without leaking, melting or going gloopy. Max Factor claim this is waterproof & I can vouch for this as no touching up was needed after a swim.

You may be wondering whether it's easy to remove? Well, in my opinion, yes it is. I just use my normal cleanser & it comes off without having to rub too hard.

Well designed, non-drying, good & even coverage & not too high a price - who could ask for more? Unless Max Factor change the ingredients I'll continue buying it because it's my desert island must-have.

Summary: a great lipcolour which lasts all day
