Advantages: Great colour, lovely shine and lasts all night long
Disadvantages: None
Max Factor is a make up brand that has been around for years and years and i still remeber playing with my mums max factor makeup when i was a child, thankfully their choice and formulas have greatly improved.
My main problem with lipsticks is that they never last, even the ones that claim to and believe me i have tried them all, all in the name of research you understand. and is it just me or do they ever look the same as the do before you purchase them!
What is it -
Max factor lipfinity is a two step solution to long lasting colour, it comes in a box with two bottles shaped like lipgloss.
Step one is the colour and step two is the top coat.
The box has instructions on how to apply the product.
What does is promise -
It promises long lasting colour for upto 12 hours and promises vibrant and moisurised lips that are party, proof, food proof and kiss proof.
How do i use it -
You apply the first bottle which is step one, the applicator is more like a sponge than a brush and you apply this in an even coat all over your lips, as its like a paint you do not need to use a lot. then leave to dry for 60 seconds, i do recomened that you leave your mouth open while it dries, it will look very dry but this is where step two comes in.
Once it has dried open the top coat, this has no applicator as such and is more like a tubed lip balm that you apply in the holder, once applied this brings the first coat to life and has a lovely shine to it, you then should only need to re apply the top coat as and when.
How do i remove it -
If you need to, use an oil based makeup remover and rub gently over your lips.
Does it work -
In my opnion this is an excellent product, the colour you see in the stick is the colour that will appear on your lips, this is beacuse the pigment is high as its more like a paint than a lipstick.
The top coat really does moisturise my lips and gives it a lovely shine although not a really glossy look as some lip gloss does.
I also like the fact that it doesn't feel sticky and i hardly know that i am wearing it.
It lasts me more than the 12 hours and after a late night i have found myself with a full pout the following morning!.
How much does it cost and where can i get it -
You can purchase the range at most boots stores and other chemists, most department stores and also online.
Depending where you purchase it it can cost approx £8.50 and lasts a long time.
Summary: A great colour lipstick that stays on your lips and not on your, glass or partner
