Disappointing 'long lasting' lipgloss. (Max Factor Lipfinity)

Advantages: Nice colours, nice finish and it does last longer than other lipgloss/lipstick.

Disadvantages: It doesn't last as long as they make out, plus it flakes after a while and it looks awful.

I had heard much praise and read a lot of good reviews about this. You can pick these up for about £9.95, it just depends on where you shop. That's fairly steep for a lipgloss, but as it's supposed to last all day and since it's by max factor, it seems reasonable.

It's very easy to apply and doesn't have that really sticky feel that i got with No.7's version. The colours are really nice, bold colours but not over powering, one coat is plenty. You finish of with a top-coat of the clear balm thats included and it gives a really nice, shiny - but not too shiny - finish. But did it last all day? No. I found after a few hours, it started to flake off, which as you can probably imagine, looked horrible. It flaked off in pieces leaving some of your lips coloured and other bits not, and as it's so difficult to remove, if this happens when your out, it can cause you a few problems and if you try and re-apply it, you get a really uneven finish.

I bought this with the thought that i wouldn't have to be constantly re-applying my lipgloss all day, but instead i'm doing frequent mirror checks to make sure it hasn't gone 'patchy' again. I found the No.7 version didn't do this at all and it actually did last all day, so my advice would be to get the No.7 version instead, it's better, doesn't flake, lasts longer and around 50p cheaper.

Summary: Avoid, buy the No.7 version instead.
