Being one of the many who wish to have a perfect pout and having tested this on my hand in the store I decided to 'splash' out, although I would call it a middle range' price. Rather than a lipstick, or even a stain, I would call it a paint because thats precisely what it does, paints your lips. After waiting a minute for it to dry you then apply the top coat, which is really only a gloss.The top coat I would say wears of as quickly as any other gloss, leaving the 'paint 'underneath in place, or at least mostly in place I found that it did begin to wear away in 'heavy traffic' part of the lips ie. the bit where if you stick your index finger in your mouth (clean of course!)and then pull it out slowly, lipstick would be on your finger! Overall its okay, but another point I found was that the 'paint' itself ran out far quicker than the topcoat, but that just means I now have some spare lipgloss.
