For quite some time I was on a life long mission to find the perfect mascara. Over the past year or so, although I've not found yet a mascara that really is as good as false eyelashes (reason? It would be impossible for a mascara to actually ADD more eyelashes!), I have ended up with not just one, not just two but three favourite mascaras that I am more than happy with. I'm a huge fan of Max Factor products and have tried almost all of them I think! I find most of their range to be very high quality and as I use alot of different make up I like that theirs doesn't seem to deteriorate after a couple of months. Which means I can continue wearing a different look every day! I bought this mascara when it first came out in the uk, it cost me £6.99 on special offer, but I believe it retails at £8.99 in most stores. Max Factor Masterpiece Max in black is the best mascara I have ever used. After using Benefit Bad Gal Lash and Diorshow I never thought I'd find a better mascara. I thought Volume shocking by L'Oreal would be the runner up of the non designer mascaras I've ever used but last time I went to my local Boots to buy some Max Factor eyeshadow I thought I'd give it a try as they had an offer of a free gift if I spent over a certain amount! I have used many different types of mascara's, and I do go through phases with many of them. This one is my current favourite. So on the packaging it states 'High volume that's sleek and smooth.' My eyelashes are very long which is great, however they lack volume, so I always stick to volume mascaras. This mascara really does give me better volume. Unofrtunately with many volume mascaras I end up getting big clumps, not with masterpiece max mascara though!
