Don't waste your money! (Max Factor Minerals Foundation)
Member Name: stubborn_fairy
Advantages: The brush you get is quite good, and it makes an okay highlighter! Disadvantages: Sparkly, no coverage. I like wearing mineral foundation during the day because it is light and sheer, and quick to apply in the mornings. I ran out and picked this up from Tesco. Not cheap at £12. I was really dissappointed. For some reason Maxfactor have decided to make this powder sparkly! I didn't notice when it was still in the packaging. I have oily skin with blemishes, and when I applied this, it was just as blemished and uneven, but clumps of glitter had trapped themselves in the blemishes- awful! I'm not talking about light reflecting pigments (which many brands offer) either- this is full on sparkle! The packaging is as much of a let down. The brush is fine, but getting the right amount of powder on the brush is impossible, without having blow (and therefore waste) half of it off the end. It ends up everywhere! I know this is a problem with mineral powders generally, but other manufacturers have dealt with it much better. I went back to Tesco that night and bought Collection 2000's mineral powder, much better, and around £4! I now use this product as a highlighter on my cheekbones! Summary: Expensive and useless |
