Hurray for soft make-up brushes and hats off to Max Factor for providing a really beautifully soft sable-type application brush with their Natural Minerals Foundation rang! The downfall of so many mineral powder products, in my experience, is the inclusion of brushes that are horribly harsh on the face. Max Factor is one of the companies who have got this vital aspect right. Their applicator brush is of a high quality, and that really affects the smooth application of this product. I've tried lots of different mineral based make-ups and Natural Minerals from Max Factor is the one I would currently rate as the best. Although it is in powder form it doesn't give a dry powdery finish to the complexion once it's applied. It offers good coverage and a lovely 'glow' that many similar products fail to achieve. As a base it's great and other make-up products like eye shadow and blushers, tc, can be applied over the top of it. Another added advantage, as far as I am concerned, is that it is scent free and suitable for sensitive skin. Price wise it's in the middle band; not cheap, and not outlandishly expensive either. And, because it is a good quality product I find you need less of it than you might a cheaper less-effective version.
