Unatural and gave a 'tangerine' glow. (Max Factor Minerals Foundation)

Advantages: Good concept and easy to use bottle.

Disadvantages: Gave my skin an uneasy tone

This is the first minerals based foundation that I have used however it is not the first max factor product.

The product promised a new mineral foundation that would build coverage and whilst smoothing my imperfections and providing me with a 'healthy glow'.

Unfortunately for me the foundation simply did not work. I have fair skin and purchased the shade 'natural 70'. In fact there are also the shades cream ivory, warm almond, golden and bronzed.

I purchased a 10g bottle that comes in a 2 part standing compartment. The top part holds the brush and the foundation is held in the bottom part.

The foundation is very easy to apply you just shake the bottle, remove the lid and dip the brush lightly into the 'sifter'. Then apply the foundation in sweeping motions. The first time I used the foundation I thought I had used it in correctly because it definitely did not over my skin naturally.

My second attempt was no better, the coverage was uneven and really did not cover any of my imperfection and made my skin look worse than it did when i started.

Even though the shade was natural it gave my skin a 'burnt orange' glow that hardly made my face look natural or provide a 'healthy glow'.

Like most foundations introduced by well known companies the price is fairly high (over the £10 mark) however i would be happy to continue paying this price if I had liked the product but unfortunately I did not.

The foundations concept is excellent but in theory for me it did not work and I think there are better foundations out there.
