Advantages: Blends well to create a natural finish

Disadvantages: none

I must admit I am not normally a fan of cream blushers and always opt for powder. I feel that the few cream blushes I have tried have been very false looking and hard to blend in, unless you are trying to look like a rosy doll. Maybe it's just me not applying them correctly but I always chose the powder. In a recent promotion from max factor I received a mini pot of miracle touch creamy blush so I decided to give it a go.

I decided to apply the blush with my fingers as I assume this would be the best way to hopefully create a natural look. On first touch I didn't notice anything different from standard creamy blushes apart from maybe it was a tad bit more liquidy.I dabbed a small amount on each cheek and blended in thoroughly. I was expecting to see some big rosy circles but I was actually very surprised to see the natural flush on my cheeks. The blusher had blended in great and instead of looking fake, it looked like a very natural healthy glow. The colour I used was called soft pink. In the tub it looks more like a hot pink but looks are deceiving on this one, as soon as you put the blush on your fingers it appears a lot lighter than it looks in the tub. I would definitely recommend trying a tester of this product if it is available just to make sure you are getting the right shade.

Overall, I was very happy with product and I honestly never thought I would say that about a cream blusher. This blush is a little more expensive at about £6.50 a tub but it does last a very long time. I have had my mini pot now for a few weeks and it is still going strong.

I would definitely recommend this product. Another great max factor item.

Summary: would recommend
