Okay polishes but quite expensive (Max Factor Nail Finity French Manicure)

Like blondgem, I have never purchased Max Factor nail products before, and the face products I have tried have never really wow-ed me. I was in Boots in Stirling, and purchased a few items, for some reason, there was a promotion going on and I received a free Max Factor Nail Finity French Manicure set. It came in a pink bag with 2 nail polishes from their range: No 222 Whispering Ivory, and number 223 See Through Peach, the packet also contained basic instructions on application of these products. The bottles are 10ml which is the usual size for most nail polishes e.g. Barry M Nail Paints and No 17, and I expect these to last me a long time. So far, they have shown no signs of drying up or separating out which I am pleased about. I find the brush, from handle to tip is quite long and fine. The large cap makes it easy to get a stable grip on the polish. The colours are your average nude and white french manicure kind, I find the peachy colour a little too orange for my skin tone, so it doesn't look very natural, but the white is a nice inbetween shade - I guess I would call it magnolia. It is not tippex white or barely where cream, so I love it for my tips. The colours do chip after a day or two even with a top coat, but I am yet to find a polish that doesn't. I think to buy these in the shops they are quite expensive at just over £5 a bottle, so for that reason I wouldn't buy them again as I know there are other brands that give a similar performance for half the price.
