this produce has to be wetted with water spray a couple of minutes before use and applied with a wet sponge ! no wonder it didnt work !
I was on holiday and realised that I forgot my foundation! I dont wear any make-up in the day when Im on holiday but its nice to dress up and look nice during the evening especially when going for a nice meal. I had been looking everywhere for my usual loreal liquid foundation, but of course finding that would have been like looking for a needle in a haystack. I walked into a cosmetics store that had a very small selection of foundations which were all powder. I scanned through them all and wondered which ones I didnt want to get. I have never really been a big fan of powder as they usually leave my skin feeling and looking dry and pastry like. I spotted a shade that would have matched my face in the Max Factor Pan Cake powder foundation and it seemed OK so bought it. I got it for an equivalent of just under £5.00 which I thought wasnt bad for a Max Factor product. That night when I was applying my make up I thought Id put my foundation. The powder comes with a sponge. The product look rather pretty in its little round flat container but I thought id remove the lid and give it a go. I took the sponge and started to sweep to try and get some foundation onto the sponge. As the sponge was white, I could see that there was foundation on the sponge but when I went to put it onto my face absolutely nothing happened. The sponge still had foundation on it but I never. I tried again but this time swept harder onto the powder with the sponge and harder from the sponge onto my face. Absolutely nothing. I was rather disappointed. I tried using a foundation brush that I had lying around and swept the brush over the powder. The brush didnt pick up any foundation! I tried harder but still no luck. I thought Id scrape (with the end of my tail comb) abit of the powder so that my brush would have to pick up the foundation. I swept my brush over the powder and finally the brush had picked some powder up! I swept it over my face and I could see something but it didnt make a big difference. I had to keep scraping and sweeping for about 5 times before I could see any results. In my opinion, good if you want a very subtle powder foundation, but also want to work for it. That'l teach me to forget my foundation on holiday wont it!
