Advantages: All in one, covers blemished and evens skin

Disadvantages: dries skin

Max factor is a very well know well publicised brand (although a lot of their advertising is based more round lipsticks and mascara's.
This is listed as a covering foundation. It's a very thick cream in a short oval stick form. There is a wheel on the size to move it up or down. Aside from being larger in diameter, it is reminiscent of a concealer. It is more compact than a standard foundation.
As you apply it to the skin it seems quite aerated. Lots of little bubbles appear and you have to blend it carefully - I often use a lip brush.
It does cover all the redness of blemishes well and makes them look more levelled with the rest of the skin. It doesn't feel to thick (like sometimes concealer does), generally though as a foundation it is heavy if worn all over the face. I generally try to wear this only for a short periodas although it doesn't feel greasy it does seem to dry my skin out after a few hours.

For how small it is the tube seems to last a long time and the price (£7 or less) is good for a foundation product for Max Factor.

Summary: This is great if you are self concious about blemished skin
