I was first introduced to the Max Factor Pan Stik by my best friend when I was just 18. I was staying at her mum's glamourous bachelorette pad in London, and we were trying on her make up in order to act out scenes from Abigails Party. Looking back, it sounds like we were behaving more like we were 8 than 18, but they were happy ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Max Factor Pan-stick

max factor pan stick is a very old brand and if you dont know how to use it you will hate it . you can put it on light or heavy.
but you can not use it with out setting it with powder i mean with a good powder like coty if you dust a light layer of powder over this and it will not come off all day you will have to take it off with baby oil at night.
covers even the darkest of circles or blemishes. do not use cheap powders over pan stick or it will look cakey

I have been fighting with foundation for such a long time now, by gum I should have been one of the Four Tops. There's a joke for the little more motown-inclined amongst you! I had previously been using a combination of primer, liquid foundation and concealer, as my skin is very red at times and getting the kind of coverage I want is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cover up with foundation- Max factor pan stick (215 words)

Max factor is a very well know well publicised brand (although a lot of their advertising is based more round lipsticks and mascara's. This is listed as a covering foundation. It's a very thick cream in a short oval stick form. There is a wheel on the size to move it up or down. Aside from being larger in diameter, it is reminiscent of ...  Read the complete review

I can remember using Pan stick make up years ago but then it was a much heavier facial product altogether, a few licks of the old Pan Stick and your skin set like a mask, it may have covered any skin imperfections but it looked very artificial. On the whole the foundation creams of today are light, airy and weightless, you can apply them and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Hiding Flaws (217 words)

Although it's marketed as a foundation, I use Max Factor Pan-stick as a concealer. It's thick enough to cover a blemish on my eyelid, and makes a great base on which to apply eyeshadow. I also use it sparingly under my eyes to mask any dark circles. I've tried other concealers and none of them do the job as well as this product. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Max Factor Pan-stick: Max Factor Pan stick foundation BEWARE (276 words)

Max factor have marketed this as a "foundation" but i completely disagree its more like a concealer and boy does it conceal... you would barely recignise yourself under that think caked mask that covers up any NATURAL beauty that you may have. I felt like i hade just got mud and smeared it all over my face.. it felt unclean and looked ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gives thick coverage, but doesn't last (199 words)

Rating:

I bought the Max Factor Pan Stik a couple of months ago with the understanding that it was a foundation, however, I would say it is more of a concealer due to its consistency. When applied as a foundation, it first of all seems to go on well, but it is very thick and does cover the skin completely. My problem is that after a couple of ...  Read the complete review

~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Max Factor Pan Stik ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Max factor Pan stik is in my opinion, a very confused make- up!! I used this a lot in my younger years and now cringe that I actually used it as a foundation. It is actually marketed by Max factor as a foundation. It comes in a small navy blue cylinderical plastic ...  Read the complete review
Max Factor Pan-stick: I am confused.... (367 words)
I am a little confused, from the blurb on the panstick packet it sounds as though it is a foundation in itself, but it was sold to me as a concealer? I've just read a review by sharonB on panstick, and i am not surprised that she was miffed. The thought of using it as a foundation is horrible. But as a concealer it is top notch, it is ...  Read the complete review
I've tried many foundations in my time and I like the ones that give good coverage as I have uneven skin tones and I thought I would give Panstick a try ...boy that was a mistake. Its very greasy and yes it does give good coverage but it just sits there like a mask all stick and greasy and even though I chose the fair shade it went on a ...  Read the complete review
