Disadvantages: No colour
My sister bought me this product as part of a present. I do like to wear pink colours so I was really interested in trying this out, unfortunately the results were a bit disappointing.

~~Current Price & Additional Information~~
I could not find a mainstream vendor that sells this, although it is worth noting that the product appears on the MaxFactor.co.uk website which gives a link to a Boots (expired) webpage for purchasing! It comes in 8ml solid tubes.
~~Ingredients~~
Polybutene, Petrolatum, Paraffinum Liquidum, Candelilla Cera, Mica, Aroma, Tocopheryl Acetate, Oleyl alcohol, Hydrogenerated Polyisobutene, Propylparaben, Palmitic Acid, Methylparaben, Limonene, Butylparben, Citral [+/- CI 77891, CI 77491, CI 73360, CI 15850, CI 42090, CI 77499, CI 75470, CI 15985:1]
~~Packaging~~
The packaging is a standard solid tube with a long sponge-like solid applicator for the lips. It measures around 10cm with the lid accounting for just under 4cm. It's around 1.5cm thick with the cap being a few millimetres less. The body of the product is see-through so you can see the colour of the gloss. The cap is a gold colour. The tube is also decorated with a golden strip around it near the top, just below the cap. The writing is minimal and for my colour, it blends into the colour of the product nicely.
~~My Thoughts~~
The colour looks like a pretty pale pink (350 Mellow Pink) with lots of multicoloured shimmer. I was really disappointed that when applied over my lips, there was barely any hint of colour. You can definitely make out the glitter, but it really may as well have been a clear lip gloss! This isn't the lightest shade either, and in fact there are 2 other pinks that are of a similar lightness, so I really expected some colour!
It did give pretty good shine and looked flattering on which was definitely a plus, but it didn't last very long and the consistency didn't feel very smooth. The smell is very light and sweet which I quite liked. I can't quite describe the smell, but it just reminds me of putting my head into a bag of wrapped up sweets - i.e. you can definitely smell it there, but it's not that strong! :)
~~Overall~~
I'm not sure how expensive this is, but I would have guessed it was a few pounds. Given the price, I guess you get what you pay for. It does the job for a lip gloss - it's sparkly, looks quite flattering and gives a nice shine. There was no colour to speak of and it didn't last very long however. I don't like or dislike this product overall and would give this 3 stars.
Summary: An OK lipgloss!
