Does what it claims to do.

I have this in the clear gel option. I have not seen it in any shops before - I actually bought it on ebay.

The gel is clear and quite thick in texture. It doesn't smell at all and the wand is basically just a mascara wand. It does hold your brow neatly in place but it doesn't have that 'crispy' look some of these products can leave. Helps to tame any unruly hairs and keep them in place until it is washed off.

There are colour options for this product - a blonde and brunette one I think - however you can just mix a little of the clear gel with some powder eyeshadow to get the same effect if you need to cover up any sparse areas or just to get a more defined shape.

This is the first brow gel I have used so I have nothing to compare it to, however, I'd definately consider buying it again.

A terrific product from Maybelline that really works

Several years ago whilst on holiday in the US, I purchased this maybelline brow styling gel (in the clear version), and I loved it, but was disappointed to find that when I returned home, I could not find it on sale anywhere. I have since found out that Maybelline have now, for some strange reason, discontinued this product.

Recently however, I purchased this maybelline brow styling gel on e bay for around £2. Maybelline, at the time, produced this brow styling gel in three different colours - clear (for all hair colours), taupe (dark blonde to medium brown coloured hair), and brunette (medium brown to black coloured haid).

Thankfully however, this product lasts for ages. The tube that I originally bought has only just come to an end now, which is why I have had to scan the internet for another.

The product comes in a 14 fl oz long plastic tube, with a silver coloured screw lid. Attached to the lid is a wand that resembles a mascara wand. Maybelline claims that this product 'grooms and sets brows for hours', and I have found it to be effective at keeping my eyebrows in shape all day.

The wand is extremely easy to use and you simply brush your brows into the shape you desire and they should stay in that shape for the duration of the day.

The product is also safe for sensitive eyes, hypoallergenic, and contacts lens safe.

All in all, this is a great product that really does work, keeping your eyebrows in the shape you desire. As I said, I can only comment on the clear version of this, but if the other two colours are as good, then I may try the brunette version, however it is very disappointing that maybelline do not make this product any longer and I am truly baffled as to why, but at least it is still available to buy on ebay for the meantime. The product really is good value for money, as my original brow gel lasted for a couple of years, although I maybe wasn't using it every single day, but at least 3 or 4 times a week. This is a really great product for those who want to keep their eye brows in shape, but still keep them looking natural.
