I practically never leave the house without mascara and have tried many types over the years. I rarely find one that I'm really happy with and when I do it normally goes out of production after a few months or a year or two which is really annoying! This mascara does wonders. When I first picked this up I was unsure because it seemed almost too cheap to be any good. But I was wrong. This mascara was exceptionally good for its price. The mascara is easily applicable, highlights your eyelashes and also helps your eyelashes to grow longer. I was amazed after a month or two that my eyelashes had grown nearly twice the original size. I got this mascara from Boots for £7.19, I thought this was quite expensive for a drug store mascara but you can get it from Amazon for £4.65. The mascara claims to give volume in just one coat and to be clump free. There is 10.7 ml in the tube. The mascara comes in black, 100% black, and waterproof black, (I don't really know what the difference is between black and 100% black!) 'Maybe she's born with it, maybe she's Maybelline' The name Maybelline is actually made up from Maybel, the name of TL Williams' (who started the company in 1915) sister and line from vaseline, the product his sister mixed with coal dust for her lashes. I didn't know this until looking up the company but it is actually now owned by L'Oreal. I don't buy L'Oreal as I know their animal testing policy is a little dubious so this was a surprise to me!
