Advantages: Good volumising wand

The product itself comes in a thick, yellow tube, which gives the illusion in itself of a voluminous mascara, the psychology behind this is that the consumer thinks that if the the tube is so thick then the brush must be big enough to boost up those lashes!

The mascara promises to give you 'colossal volume' in just one coat and that you will have 'no clumps.' Personally, I find that I need to put two coats of mascara on to make my eyes look dramatic enough for a night out, one just doesn't cut it. And to give you some perspective, I don't like to look like a clown when I wear my make up, so this highlights that one coat is just not noticeable enough unless you want a very natural, day time look.

As for clumps - I would agree that this mascara is not bad in this respect, I always run my fingers very gently over my lashes immediately after applying any mascara, which gets rid of potential clumps - but this mascara rarely provides unsightly clumps.

There is also a very thick mascara wand, which assists in the voluminous process - this is much better than those tiny flat wands which are so common in other mascara's these days.

My problem with this mascara, is that a few hours after applying - when I check myself in the mirror - I nearly always have bits and specks of dried mascara underneath my eyes and sometimes on my cheeks! This is NOT a good look. And considering I dab the mascara to ensure there is no clumpy excess after applying, the remainder in my opinion, should not end up half way down my face!

This is a real shame and lets the product down. Aside from this, the brush thickness and colour is good. But I am afraid that for the price, I would not buy this mascara again - I have never before had the problem of having to wipe black specks off my face each day with other similar priced mascara's, which are currently on the market. One to miss.
