For super dark and thick lashes...use this (Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Mascara)

Advantages: Does everything is says it should

Disadvantages: Flakes once it starts to dry out

This is my absolute favourite mascara. It costs about £6 from boots but they normally have offeres on make up so if they do, i tend to stock up on this just in case i ever run out.

The packaging is a super bright yellow which makes it really easy to find in your make up box.

I have a lot of trouble (or used to) with mascaras because my eyelashes arent naturally curly at all so finding a mascara that actually made them look good was hard and it took me a while.

The colossal volum express mascara makes your eyelases look really dark and thick, close enough to the ones on the adverts. It obviously doesnt make them that long though because models use fake eyelashes or air brushing but it does make them look a bit longer. I use this every single day and it lasts the whole day too. The only small disadvantage is that once it starts to dry up, it will start to flake a little bit after a couple of hours. When it starts doing this i know its time to replace it but generally it will last a long time.

If they ever discontinue this i will probably stick with Maybelline and try another one of theirs before trying something else
