I had no idea what BB cream was until earlier this year when I sent for a free sample of this Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream. I had heard the term 'BB cream' mentioned but really had no idea until my sample arrived, exactly what it was. After using up the two sample sachets I had been sent, I was left fairly impressed with this BB cream and so when spotting a tube on offer at just over £5 instead of the usual £7.99, I decided to treat myself. BB cream seemed to appear around last year sometime, although it was earlier this year when I eventually got around to trying it as it became one of the biggest beauty trends around. BB stands for Blemish ... Read the complete review

If you're going for a fresh-faced and natural look but still need a little coverage, Maybelline's innovative combination of skincare and make-up is a must have. Dream Fresh claims to be an 8-in-1 BB Cream, providing UV protection and hydration whilst giving you visibly smooth, fresh feeling skin. The bottle says it can be used with or without moisturizer. As my skin is quite dry, I always moisturize and use a hydrating primer before application. A lot of foundations I've used in the pass have made my skin look flaky and dry, but Dream Fresh hydrates your skin whilst providing coverage and a lovely glow - perfect! I've used foundations specifically ... Read the complete review

DESCRIPTION This BB cream is from Maybelline. It's described as a "blemish balm" and therefore not a "foundation". The formula is gel based as opposed to oil based which for some people will be a real positive depending on their face type, if you have an oily complexion this product could be a good one to try. The product also has SPF30 within it which is really good for the skin, most people forget that even when it's not sunny outside the rays can still have harmful affects on your skin and so the added SPF is a real bonus. PRICE I paid £9.99 for my tubes of my Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream but at the moment you ... Read the complete review

I have tried a few BB creams before (Garnier and L'oreal - both previously reviewed) but never been overly impressed by them. They are somewhere between a moisturiser/tinted moisturiser/foundation but never seem to do any one thing particularly well. I have repurchased the Garnier BB cream and this is leaps and bounds better than the L'oreal one. That said, none that I've tried have stolen my heart so I was excited to test out this one. I was given this as a gift and was pleased to be able to try something new and different but without having to shell out for it. I do think this cream leaves a fair amount to be desired but I haven't point blank thrown it out ... Read the complete review

I have been taken up with the big fuss over BB creams. I've tried a few and though I haven't been completely blown away by any of them, I keep getting reeled in by the long list of things which they promise to do. And so I bought my latest BB cream... the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream. What does the product do? The product promises to hydrate the skin which is extremely important when trying to prevent the appearance of wrinkles. The formula is oil free and non greasy which is essential for those with an oily complexion like mine. It claims that it will blur out imperfections and fine lines leaving the complexion looking visibly smoother and younger. ... Read the complete review
