Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation

I purchased this product after a personal recommendation from a friend. The product is a foundation and made by Maybelline, and comes in a fairly wide variety of colours, there should be something to suit everyone. This product appealed to me, as it is a liquid form, and I have dry skin, so I hoped that this wouldn't make it drier like some powders can. Expect to pay between £4 - £6 for a pot of Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, which is relatively cheap when compared to some contenders within the cosmetic industry. So, do you get what you pay for? I've been using this foundation ever since it was first released, and while I have occasionally tried alternative brands, I always return to dream matt mousse. The product comes in a circular glass pot, and is basically a mousse that you apply to your skin. Personally I've found the best way to apply this product is with your fingers, as you can get a very even finish this way, and unlike a lot of liquid foundations, it doesn't make a mess. I bought this foundation when it was publicised on the TV as it looked fantastic in the adverts. It's usually on offer in boots and I bought for around £5, which is very good for a foundation. The texture itself is very odd, but once you get past the initial oddness, it's fine. It's best to use your fingers to rub this in, as it is too thick for a foundation brush or sponge.
