Easy to apply.. doesnt last the day! (Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation)

Advantages: Really easy to apply and left my skin feeling and looking great

Disadvantages: Didnt stay on for more than 2 hours.

Cost:

Most places charge around £6.50 - £7.00.
But currently (21.5.09) Boots are charging £4.84

The product comes in a small glass see through pot with golden colour screw top lid.

What does the product claim to do:

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse colour pigments give superior coverage that blend effortlessly to impart a soft, natural-looking, even-toned result.

How to use:

Apply like a normal foundation using fingers or a make up sponge. Use a small amount at a time and blend across the face evenly.

My opinion:

I was given a free sample of this product in Fawn shade so i thought i would give it a go.

I have never been a big fan of the Mousse products. After using the mousse eyeshadow it only stayed on for about 5 minutes. So i did not think the foundation would be much better.

I was pleasantly surprised as i did like this product.

It was really easy to apply and seemed to glide across the skin. I blended thoroughly and my skin felt lovely and soft and i have a really nice flawless look.

The only thing i did not like about this product and this is why i would not buy it. It did not stay on for very long. After 2 hours shopping i felt nude again. I like my foundation to give me a glow for at least 6 hours and unfortunately this did not.

It is a shame because it had great potential.
