Advantages: cheap, easily applied, light, comes in range of colours,long lasting.

Disadvantages: shades can look misleading until applied, can stick to dry skin

This is the only foundation for me. over my teenage years i have tried many different foundations ranging from the cheaper brands to the latest expensive brands. But none have given me the sheer even coverage like maybelline dream matte mouse.

The light silky mouse is very light to touch and does not feel heavy on your face, you can tell when you apply it that your skin will still be able to breathe. I have noticed that since I've been using maybelline dream matte mouse, i have not been getting spots, this is because its lighter than air texture means it doesnt clog up your pores.

Unlike liquid foundations which are hard to apply without streaking, the mouse is effortlessly blended with both finger tips or sponges, with no streaking or build ups. This allow you to apply your foundation quicker.

The range offers 8 shades to suit all skin types and so caters for fairer skinned people to darker skinned people,leaving a slight glow to your skin.These 8 shades are; ivory, cameo, nude, sand, fawn, sun beige, caramel, cocoa. It is the only foundation i can use without having a visible line on my neck.This is because it blends in evenly and thinly and so looks identical to your natural skin colour.

It defenately achieves a matte finish that doesnt look greasy or shiny as it soaks up oily patches. When using this product i dont have to use a translucent powder over the top like i do with normal foundations because it already achieves a matte finish. So your gettin two products for the price of one really.

Another bonus to this wonder product is that it is extremely long lasting, i can apply it at 6.30 in the morning when i wake up and it will still look the same at 6 oclock at night. I believe it is longer lasting than over foundations that claim to last 16 hours.

Another advantage of this foundation is the packaging, unlike most foundations that come in a plastic tube this foundations comes in a glass pot. Have you ever tried squeezing the last bit of foundation out of a plastic tube, its near impossible, however the glass pot allows you to easily get the last bits of foundation so your getting more for your money. you can also see exactly how much foundation your scooping out instead of just squeezing a tube and hoping for the best.

Another advantage is that is easy to remove at the end of the day, so there no tedious scrubing with make-up remover.

A final advantage is the price for around £6 you cant really go wrong, for me its far more effective than the more expensive foundations that can cost up to £25 and do not achieve the flawless finish that the dream matte mouse achieves.

There are two slight disadvantages to this product, this first is when buying the product the shades look slightly darker than when applied. So i would defenately recommend testing abit before you purchase.The second being that it can stick to dry skin, so i would recommend moisturising before use.

To conclude i would highly recommend this facial product, i have been using this now for about 3 years and i've never been disapointed with the finish. Its a wonder product!
