Advantages: Easy application, nice texture, no mess, natural coverage

Disadvantages: Bulky, no substitute for concealer

This mousse makes for a pretty decent foundation. It's much easier to apply than liquid foundations, with minimal mess or spillage. Great packaging - pretty glass pot and a solid lid that won't crack like other pot lids sometimes do! Its sturdiness and easy application means it travels well, a good addition to a day bag though it's bulky so not ideal for tiny handbags!

It goes on nicely with fingers, but it works well with a decent concealer or foundation brush too. It's good for pale skin - the lighter shades match well - and because it's a mousse it doesn't feel painted on. Unlike other mousse foundations it's comparatively dry and holds together well, which adds to ease of application. It has a very velvety texture so it feels light and pleasant on the skin, but it doesn't give the best coverage so if you've got blemishes you'll still need some kind of concealer. Probably better used with another foundation to get a really flawless look, or nice on its own for light, natural coverage.
