Advantages: Lasts a long time.

Disadvantages: Accentuated my dry skin.

I purchased this product after a personal recommendation from a friend. The product is a foundation and made by Maybelline, and comes in a fairly wide variety of colours, there should be something to suit everyone.

This product appealed to me, as it is a liquid form, and I have dry skin, so I hoped that this wouldn't make it drier like some powders can.

The foundation comes in a small round clear glass pot with a beige lid with writing on it to say what is in it.

The lid screws off easily to reveal what looks like a dollop of ice cream. It is thick but wet foundation, and I have never really seen a product quite like it before.

To apply the product I dipped my finger in and rubbed it on my face using my finger tips. You can also apply it with a sponge. I found it quite difficult to apply evenly, as it was thicker than the liquid foundations I was used to. The other downside was that it tended to clump up over dry patches of skin and accentuate them even further.

The positive sides to this foundation was that the pot was easy to transport around, bottles can be a little less reliable. The foundation had quite good staying poser and would last a whole day and evening if necessary.

On balance, I would not be buying this foundation again, it made my skin look dull, accentuated it's dryness and I found it hard to apply.

Summary: I won't be buying again.
