This foundation is different to others as it comes in a little pot, dip your finger into the mousse and apply, with fingers or applicator. The mousse is really like a proper chocolate mousse. Very soft and kind of bubbly. It almost looks good enough to eat, but is it good enough as a foundation? It comes in a range of shades, ... Read the complete review

I have been using Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse for around two years now as my everyday foundation (can't beat MAC for a night out!) I have quite pale skin so normally I get it in Nude. I like it because it's never too 'orangey' and blends really well giving excellent coverage. Compared to some higher priced foundations out there it is ... Read the complete review

I have often used maybelline products and always been impressed with their branding and the image they sell so I thought I would try this particular product as wanted and alternative foundation. I found the texture was lovely to touch but putting it on my skin did not have the same effect. I found it greasy to use and fount that it didnt sink or stick to my skin well making it obivous I was wearing make up. Overall I feel it was not suitable for drier skin types but probably suits other skin types well.

I purchased this product after a personal recommendation from a friend. The product is a foundation and made by Maybelline, and comes in a fairly wide variety of colours, there should be something to suit everyone. This product appealed to me, as it is a liquid form, and I have dry skin, so I hoped that this wouldn't make it drier like ... Read the complete review

When it comes to being different, maybelline's new dream matte mousse definitely deserves a reward. With it's unique little glass bottle packaging and it's strange mousse texture, this is a foundation that is set to be huge worldwide. *** What It Promises *** This revolutionary new product promises to have: 1) A lighter ... This mousse makes for a pretty decent foundation. It's much easier to apply than liquid foundations, with minimal mess or spillage. Great packaging - pretty glass pot and a solid lid that won't crack like other pot lids sometimes do! Its sturdiness and easy application means it travels well, a good addition to a day bag though it's bulky so not ... Read the complete review

I first bought this product a few months ago, as I couldn't find my normal foundation and it was on offer. It costs around £6-£7 in most good chemists which makes it one of the cheaper ones on the market. However, I don't think it provides the best value for money, as it didn't last very long, about six weeks using it daily. Compared to how heavy ... Read the complete review

Dream Matte Mousse was the first of its kind and was a totally new way of applying make up. I loved the way that this mousse went on and it blended very easily into my skin. I did find even the lightest shade to be a little bit too dark but because it was so easily blended I could rub it right down in to my neck and you couldn't notice (I am quite ... Ok so I went to town recently and discovered that the foundation I have been using for years had been discontinued. Marvolous. So I reluctantly bought a new one, heading straight to the Maybelline counter as thats a fav. There was an offer on the Dream Matte Mousse so I decided to try it. At first I found it very odd applying a mousse ... Read the complete review

Having searched for the perfect foundation for some time without success, I couldent believe it when I finally stumbled upon this clever little pot of magic. With the consistency of a mouse, this foundation is not messy or sticky like many others, but instead is light and easy to apply. However it does not skimp on coverage and easily hides ... I was given a pot of dream matt mousse by my mums as she didnt like the feel of it on her skin, since then I have never used anything else. I do not use it everyday as it finds it dries my skin out too much, but use it when I am going out somewhere for the evening or whenever my skin is looking less than perfect. Expect to pay around £6.00 for a ... Read the complete review

Expect to pay between £4 - £6 for a pot of Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, which is relatively cheap when compared to some contenders within the cosmetic industry. So, do you get what you pay for? The mousse comes in a small glass pot with a plastic screw on lid. The standard size is 18g (keep reading review for more on this!). Although ... Read the complete review

Dream Matte Mouse Foundation is available in mulitiple shades which makes a skin tone match almost guaranteed. I purchased 005 Porcelein from Boots which was perfect to cover my freckles. After trying out a lot of other types of foundation, dream matte mousse is the first foundation I have actually stuck with! I purchased it when it was being advertised on TV when it first came out. I have used this foundation for quite a few years now probably since it really first came out and I would never consider another foundation. The foundation is good for oily or very moisturised skin. I have tried this product and have found that on dry skin this foundation does not work well. It clogs up especially in wrinkles and can look overly thick. I first found out about this foundation on Youtube as I had been looking for ways to apply my foundation in a more smooth finish. I promptly went out and bought one for £4.99 at Superdrug because it's constantly on offer. I really wish I could love this foundation but it just isn't right for me.
