I'm using this powder at the minute as someone bought me it for christmas so I don't want to waste it. It's not a brand that I would normally choose as I have always found it to be a little cheap and quality to be average. I have to say that i am a little impressed its a lot better than I expected as in the past I have found maybellines skin tone colours to be a little orange looking especially if you have got a little carried away when applying it. The colour is Rose Nude. It is more like a translucent really. It is a little too ghostly for me but I have used another colour over the top just to add a little more colour. when you rub your ... I was looking to buy a new powder and I didn't want to spend £11.00 on my usual No7 one because I'm trying to save money. I picked up Maybelline's Dream Matter Powder for somewhere around £7.00 from Boots. *Packaging* This isn't the prettiest packaging I've seen with the gold and clear plastic, but it does the job very well. Under the powder there is a twist-out compartment which contains a powder puff and a mirror. I like this because it saves space in my makeup bag because I don't have to carry around a mirror and powder puff with me. *Application* Applying this product is very easy and feels nice. The powder puff is very soft (made ... Read the complete review

I decided to try this as it was on offer for 3 for 2 on Maybelline products at Superdrug. The design of the product is compact and really useful. The bottom of the packet twists out and has a mirror and a powder puff in it. This is great as it seems more hygenic keeping th puff away from the powder as is usually the case with other powders that contain a puff. The mirror although small is very useful for touch ups on the go. It does get quite dusty though so be careful to turn the puff the other way from the mirror. To get to the powder there is a flip up lid at the top easy to undo but it also quite secure as it is clipped in so it won't fall of and get ... Read the complete review

Feeling like I needed some new skin make up and feeling obligated to take part in Boots 3 for 2 offer I went to buy a new foundation and powder. I need a change of products at this time of year, once our miserly amounts of sun are past rather than present. Having spent some time traipsing round and comparing various prices and products I came back to Maybelline. The Dream Matte Powder is a power in a flesh coloured compact with a clear window to se the product inside bestickered with labels which tell you the product name and the shade. Then, in a separate swivel base there's a handy mirror, allowing you to apply your powder in a mirror which isn't tainted by ... Read the complete review

As a girl addicted to make-up, compact powder is a must have for my every day make-up bag. I use it to prevent foundation damage from eyeshadow fallout and to finish my foundation/fix oily patches. I've gone through many different brands of compact powder but I'm currently using the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. I was first introduced to Maybelline Dream Matte Powder by my best friend, she said it was one of the best powders she had ever used! I was slightly confused though, both of us have had a bad history with Maybelline products in the past (their face products tend to be either orange or white, not a good look), but I was eager to give it a go - there's ...
