Advantages: It's cheap and covers quite well
Disadvantages: doesn't control shine as well as I would hope
I'm using this powder at the minute as someone bought me it for christmas so I don't want to waste it.
It's not a brand that I would normally choose as I have always found it to be a little cheap and quality to be average.
I have to say that i am a little impressed its a lot better than I expected as in the past I have found maybellines skin tone colours to be a little orange looking especially if you have got a little carried away when applying it. The colour is Rose Nude. It is more like a translucent really. It is a little too ghostly for me but I have used another colour over the top just to add a little more colour.
when you rub your finger over it, it feels very smooth and silky and feels just as good on you face. However, it doesn't last all day which is what I need as I don't have the time to mess around re-applying while i'm working. It isn't long before the shine comes back. I have also found that it doesn't last that long as it is so fine you find that you apply more than usual.
For the price though you can't complain its round about £7 so its a lot cheaper than my usual powder but it is nowhere near as good which is a shame as I could do with saving some money.
So all in all its an ok product but I find that the better condition your skin is and the clearer your complexion you are more likely to get away with the more average products like this.
Unfortunately I need industrial strength flawless make-up!!!!!
Summary: Average product, average results
