Perfect for bronzed babes on a budget (Maybelline Dream Mousse Bronzer)

Being both a big fan of the Maybelline Dream Mousse Range (I love both their foundation and their eye shadows), and a typically pasty skinned Brit, it wasn't long before I gave Maybelline Dream Mousse Bronzer a go. And I wasn't disappointed. Like the other products in their range, the consistency is light and whippy; the application is smooth and you can barely feel it on the skin.

In the jar the bronzer looks slightly orangey (20 sun glow) and at first, I was slightly apprehensive but then I found that, when applied to the skin, the colour looks very natural and blends well. The consistency means that the product both looks and feels very natural. Because it smoothes on so easily (for best results smooth in with your fingers), it's easy to create a realistic effect (i.e I apply more product on the apples of my cheeks as this is where the sun browns my skin naturally), unlike other powder bronzers that settle onto the skin and cake, making them hard to shift.

The staying power is ok: it tends to last 2-3 hours before it needs to re-applied, which I've found, that compared to other bronzers is relatively standard.

And of course, you can't fault the price, I paid only £3.99 for a 5.75 g jar.

Definitely recommended!

My only complaint is the jar: so bulky!! It takes up half the space in my clutch! More streamlined packaging, please Maybelline!
