      Maybelline Dream Mousse Eye Colour

I love the idea of the Maybelline Dream Mousse make-up as I really like the idea of lightweight make-up and all the dream products feel lovely on my skin when I am wearing them. The only problem with them is that some of them are really bad when it comes to lasting on my skin.

The blusher is really good and long lasting but the foundation just slides off my face in warm weather and with any hint of sweat. The eyeshadow is somewhere in the middle. It isn't terrible but it doesn't last for ages either.

I love the green version of this as it is such a lovely colour and like the rest of the dream mousse make-up it goes on my skin absolutely lovely. I just use my finger to apply it and it is easy to just run my finger over the mousse and then use my finger on my eye lid. The colour is subtle and quite sheer with a lovely shimmer to it. I think it is too sheer to actually work with one application but I can build it up and after a couple of applications the colour is gorgeous.

If I build this up then it lasts a good amount of time but if I am going for subtle make-up and only put a little bit of the shadow on then it dissapears afters a few hours on my skin.

I also use this as a primer for other eyeshadow as it seems to help other eyeshadow stick to my eyes better and the subtle shimmer effect really works with my other green powder eyeshadow making it stand out more and look a bit more vibrant.

Unfortunately I think this has been discontinued as I can't find the green colour anymore which is a shame as it was really nice. It wasn't the best make-up I've ever used but I did like this one colour a lot and I also loved how creamy and smooth it felt on my eyes. I think the mousse formulation stuck less to creases and was ideal for use in an eyeshadow.

If you can still find this it costs about £6.50 and comes in a little glass pot which is good for make-up bags because of how sturdy it is.
