I find it hard to find a foundation that suits my skin tone as I have quite pale skin (one of the curses of being from Scotland) so over the years I have tried without much luck to find one that sits well on my skin and matches my skin tone quite well. The Maybelline dream satin foundation is the fist foundation that I have bought again and plan to buy again the next time I need to.

There is a good range of colours available, from pale to dark skins so there's something for everyone. It's goes on really smoothly and with the help of a cheap applicator sponger, covers up dark shadows under the eyes quite well. It gives a good first initial cover of any blemishes that you might have, so you can layer concealer on without it looking cakey. I have not experienced any skin problem while using this product (dry skin, breakouts etc) so it seems fair to say that it lets the skin breathe and do its natural thing. It lasts quite long as well and isn't too expensive as it is a common high street brand. Easy to find and buy for the same reason.
