** How I came about to use this . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Ok so theres so much chioce in foundation out there, I never know which is best. I also was signed up with Maybellines newsletter for a compeition and recieved an email promoting their new vibrating mascara, and at the end of the email was a promotion for this new foundation. I was intrgued at how it it was an 'air whipped' formula, in a liquid version. The claim on the 'airbrush finish' and the 'poreless look' also made me want to know more about this.

I purchased this from Boots and was surprised as it was, I think £7.92, now although this is expensive, i was expecting it to be around £10.

Now you do seem to get a decent amount of product for the price. Its in an elegant glass bottle and comes complete with a pump dispenser and lid (for those spilliages we all get). Compared to other Maybelline products, i thoguht this particular packaging was really nice. (Although I did worry slightly when it fell into the sink and i heard a rather frightening clang!) However the consistancey of the product when dispensed it nice and manageable. Its spreadability seems good, however you doo feel when you spread it over your face your loosing the 'poreless' effect. The product is fairly thin, yet when i feel my skin after this is applied, you can deffinatly feel something is there. It has a sort of dewy feel to it.



** The look . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I did feel as though it covered my pores and did look air-brushed...to an extent (or maybe this was my wish ful thinking). From the above statement about it feeling dewy, it does make you think that in a few hours it's going to star being oily and give you that look. However with the right powder over the top I think this could aid to combat it.



** Conclusion . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I think when using this product you just need to apply it correctly and actually work it in. Wait a moment till its settled then re-asses the situation. Now i know this isnt the best solution if your in a rush, therfore this isnt the best for that situation. Now this review maybe more on the negative side, however I would purchase this again. It may not be my first choice or second, however i think its a lot better than other products on the market.

To a degree, no. Simply because I feel I would have to do a lot of presuading to someone and try and show the good points over the bad points.
