Advantages: Very light foundation, easy to remove

Disadvantages: Not good for a night out. Felt oily on skin.

I'm a huge fan of Maybelline foundations, I think they have their formula's off to a tee. They have a wide range of colours to suit nearly every skin tone as well as different finishes i.e, Matt, Satin, Lasting finishes, Mineral etc.

- A bit about the product & packaging -
I purchased Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid last night, the bottle looks slightly different to the one shown in the picture above. Its shaped exactly the same as the Super 24hr Stay bottle. The liquid comes in a clear glass bottle with a pump effect lid, I think this is for ease of application as liquid foundation can be a little on the messy side and also to stop bacteria entering the bottle. The pump in then covered with a plastic lid this is to stop it from being pressed whilst in your make up bag and stop any excess liquid around the pump from covering anything else! The label on the front of the bottle is clearly set out, the Maybelline emblem it as the top of the label followed by the name of the product, and a little more info on the product ' Air Whipped Foundation, Air Brush Finish', underneath this is your desired colour and the number for that certain colour, I chose 'Nude' to blend in with my skin tone. On the back there is a lift up label containing all ingredients of the product.

On first application I noticed the foundation was easy to use, whilst applying it to the skin it almost had a glittery effect yet still felt smooth and was easy to blend to my own skin. Once I had applied the right amount of foundation to my face I like to let it settle for a few minutes before adding blusher. I did notice after a couple of minutes the foundation seemed to stay quite heavy on top of my skin, almost as though my skin wasn't absorbing it and my skin felt quite oily to touch. I applied the rest of my make up which just seemed to stick to the top of the foundation, within an hour most of the foundation had worn off taken my blusher and eyeshadow along with it!

- Where can you get it from & how much is it? -
You can pick up this from just about anywhere that sells make up, Boots and Superdrug have a wide range of Maybelline products to offer, for roughly around £8.20, I managed to get it for £6 at Asda last night but I believe this was on offer it wasn't a fixed price

-Who would I recommend them to?-
I would recommend the product for anyone who likes to wear a little bit of make up but not a full face of make up, due to it being quite a light coverage to the face.

I am very undecided with this product, I think it is one of those foundation I would wear on my relaxing kind of days rather than on a night out or to work.

Summary: Totally undecided whether I like this product or not!
