As a lover of makeup I am always buying new products to test whether it's the latest mascara, eye shadows, blusher etc. But my foundation is not something that I usually like to experiment with because I found the perfect one for me in Maybelline's dream matte mousse. And usually I would stand by the fact that the foundation is your base for the rest of your makeup so once you find the perfect one don't change however, when I went to purchase my regular dream matte mousse I noticed that there was a new Maybelline foundation on offer called Dream Satin Liquid. I thought to myself I would give it a go as they are the same shades as the mousse so it can't go horrendously wrong.

As well as that it was on offer for £6.99, usually its £7.99, a small price to pay if it did end up going wrong. But I ended up being pleasantly surprised, in fact more than surprised as I think I may have found an even better foundation than my trusty dream matte mousse!

The Dream Satin Liquid foundation comes in a bottle which you pump the foundation out of the top. I find with some bottles like this that I have used you can end up pumping out way too much foundation but this one only lets out a bit of a time. Its very effective as well, I find that 2 small pumps onto a foundation sponge is enough to cover my entire face.

The bottle is also a plus point of this foundation. Being made out of see through glass means that you know exactly how much product you have left and also the bottle is in minimal danger of breaking and making a complete mess.

As the foundation is air-whipped it blends onto your face very nicely and does not look caked or plastered on, I would say you could go out with the foundation on and you would look completely natural and no one would notice you had any on, they would just think you had perfect skin.

Speaking of perfect skin, I unfortunately do not have it. Many products break me out and cause spots and blemishes on my face but this works perectly with my skin type.

Other makeup that you put on such as blusher or bronzer glides well on the skin on top of the foundation and does not leave any funny marks, this is because the foundation is so light.

One of the major benefits of this makeup is that I have found that you can put it on in the morning and you will still look made up in the evening, definitely long lasting. Even though the foundation does last a long time it is very easily removed at the end of the day.

As with all Maybelline products you expect there to be a wide range of shades, and there is there are currently 8 shades of the Dream Satin Liquid foundation:
* Nude
* Ivory
* Fawn
* Sand
* Cameo
* Sun Beige
* Light Porcelain
* Cocoa

For a natural look that lasts all day I would definitely recommend this latest revelation from Maybelline!
