I have bought this product twice in the past few years. However, since I have been on my last pot I have searched for it again and I have found that Superdrug has stopped supplying it. This is a huge downfall for me because being really pale I find it hard to find a foundation with an excellent finish that does not make me look like a tangerine. When first looking at the pot I thought that it was way too small and a waste of money, but I went on a whim and bought it anyway and it was one of the best things I have ever done. I use Light Porcelain and have found it very good. I tested one of their other foundations, which has also stopped being produced, at the same colour, Light Porcelain, and I found that it was so much more darker than their other Light Porcelain. The product comes in a transparent glass pot with a beige screw on lid. The product is very easy to open, though not in store because they place stickers over the sides to stop people from opening the product. I also find this product best applied with my finger tips rather than a brush.
I find that this foundation is very easy to use. Though the product is mousse it isn't very soft. You have to apply a nice amount of pressure to get some out and upon glazing it over your face you find that it has a smooth finish. It also supplies easily and it spread with the lightest of pressure. I have very pale skin and I found that this product was very effective. It made my skin go slightly darker, but not as dark as a tangerine. I will settle for this though because it is virtually impossible for me to find a foundation. This product lasted me a whopping 8 months and I used it everyday. However, I only apply it in the morning and not every hour like most girls. I like to apply this product with some pressed powder brushed on top.
COST & RECOMMEND
I bought this for £6.99 at Superdrug. However sometimes they have offers on when you can get two for £10. I think this price is good for a recommended brand like Maybelline. Though the Superdrug chain in Birmingham have stopped selling it I am sure this product can be found in other stores, or online. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who can make their money and the product itself stretch. If you have pale skin like me I would definitely try this product out. You will be surprised at how effective it is.
