Recommended when the budget is tight.

Maybelline is not a brand that I use regularly, I find particularly their cosmetics are often disappointing. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by the expert eyes make up remover. Of course, it still isn't a top of the line brand so I don't think you can expect it to perform like one - and it doesn't - but all in all, for the price, it's pretty good.

The make up remover is extremely watery and squirts out quite fast when you apply slight pressure to the bottle. I use it with cotton wool and then wipe the ball of quite wet cotton wool across my eyes. I find you do need to have the wool more than slightly moist if you want to remove your make up. This remover does require a few wipes I find, in comparison to the Clinique for example, which removes almost everything in one go. But then the Clinique Happy Eyes also costs a lot more!

On the plus side for the Maybelline make up remover, if you get a bit in your eyes with the extra rubbing it doesn't sting, doesn't feel uncomfortable at all in fact, and isn't oily or make your eyesight blurry.

Also, even at this low prices and needing a little more to get all your make up removed, I found that the bottle seemed to last for ages. It took me at least 3 to 4 months to get through it and I wear make up every day (though can't claim to be so good as to properly remove it every day! tsk tsk).

In summary, this pretty much does what it says on the box, even if not quite as smoothly or flawlessly as some more expensive products. If you're on a budget thiis is definitely a good alternative to the luxury lines and still does the job.
