***Why did i purchase it?*** I previously used MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack and once it had dried out after 4 months decided that I needed to find a more economical option as £14 for 4 months was quite expensive and I wasn't even using it on a daily basis. I wandered into Superdrug to purchase an inexpensive gel liner and was happy to come across the Maybelline Eyestudio on offer as there was a 2 for £10 (RRP £7.99) and also purchased the Collosal mascara (which I'll review later). The gel liner comes in two uninspired shades Black and Brown but then again I generally tend to stick with Black as it's more adaptable. ***What do you ... Read the complete review

I bought this Gel eye liner on a whim. I'm not one for wearing too much make-up and try to keep myself looking as natural as possible. When I go out it's a different matter. I wanted to try something new and easier to apply. I studied fashion and clothing design at college so knew my way around a paintbrush so thought this would be super easy to apply. **The Gel Eye liner:** ===================== Maybelline's gel eye liner is very new and different to my make up bag. I haven't used a product like this so when I saw it in Superdrug in the 3 for 2 offer, I snapped it up for just over £7 along with two other products I wanted. When I got home and my ... I have always used pencil eyeliners and have been reluctant to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. The pencil eyeliners have started to hate me though as by the time I get home at the end of the day I look like a panda and no matter how sparsely I try to apply it, it inevitably smudges so I decided to try something else. My friend recommended this product as it seemed to dry on her eyelid and not budge for the entire day. I found it in Tesco and, although it was a bit more expensive than I'd expected for such a small pot, I was pleasantly surprised. I'll start on the size. It looks disappointing when you open the packaging and find out that the ... Read the complete review

Around a year ago I recieved a make up pallete as a gift and included in it was a gel eyeliner. I loved the eye liner and after using it all up I wanted to purchase it again but unfortunately the price of this eyeliner was way out of my budget and I decided to go back to using pencil eyeliner. However, I really dislike using pencil liners, first of all I can never get a neat line, it doesn't last long before smudging off and it just never seems to look right on me. After getting totally fed up with my pencils I decided to look on boots website to see if there were any gel eyeliners within my budget. Out of the small amount of results that appeared when I searched for ... Read the complete review

I bought this eyeliner a couple of months ago after seeing people saying gel eyeliner was easy to apply. The cost on boots is £7.99 for it, but I think I paid less - can't remember where I bought it! The eyeliner comes in a small pot with a screw-on lid and with a brush. I have used the brush once - it's a lovely brush and perfectly good for using and can be used to create quite thin lines. However I personally prefer my angled eyeliner brush, so I mostly use that for application. The gel: The liner is a thick consistancy. I've previously used pencils, which are good for thin lines, but never have that solid finish, and liquids, ... Read the complete review
