I bought this with some vouchers at Boots recently. I had only used pencil liners previously, but wanted something a little more dramatic that had staying power. I saw this gel eyeliner and thought I would try it as it is really in between pencil and liquid eyeliner.

I think I payed £7.99 for the product, with that you recieve a small pot of black gel eyeliner and a pencil. The pencil is a resonable size and easily dabs in the pot of eyeliner which is not gel like, but has an almost creamy consistency.

I've had the product now for around 4 weeks and have hardly used any of this product, as a little goes a long way. In that respect it is really good value for money, not only do you get a professional eyeliner brush but the eyeliner will last months.

The product claims to be smudge proof any it really is! I've had real problem with other (high end) pencils smudging and looking a mess a few hours after application. But I can honestly say this stays in place all day.

The only issue with the lasting wear is removing it at the end of the day. It does need a good scrub to remove it from the lash line. I have woken up in the morning on a few occasions and I am still wearing it in on my lash line.

Another small issue is the brush needs to be washed after every application, otherwise the gel dries and clumps together on the brush, making the next application messy. This isn't a huge problem though.

I am really pleased with this product and would definately recommend it to others to use, a little really dooes go a long way, so it is a good value product!
