I am a huge mascara fan and I have about 10 or so mascaras in my makeup box. I love mascaras because they open up your eyes and make you seem more awake and they make your eyelashes look gorgeous and thick.
I've tried various mascaras that have promised lovely long, thick, curly eyelashes with one coat but none of them seemed to work, and it took about 3-5 coats before I was satisfied.
I never really planned to buy this mascara, I only bought this because I was buying a lipstick from Maybelline with my Boots card and realised that I'd almost finished my trusty Natural Collection mascara. I'd tried the Colossal Volume Express mascara from Maybelline before and I really really liked it as it was one of the few mascaras that did give me beautiful lashes without much effort, so I thought that maybe the Falsies Volume Express might be good.

-Brush-

This brush is quite a big brush so if you don't like big brushes then it's best to steer clear of this mascara. The brush is spoon shaped and is designed to give your lashes extra volume and coat every single one of your lashes for extra definition. The only thing bad about the brush is that it's a bit hard to get to the lashes in the inner corner of your eyes.

-Appliance-

The mascara isn't too dry or too runny though it is quite creamy, and I love creamy mascaras because it just feels better when I apply them because it just makes applying it a smoother process. On the first coat I noticed my eyelashes were already really thick and long, not to mention they were quite curly - and I hadn't even curled my eyelashes!
I'm really messy when it comes to applying mascara so I always keep a cotton bud or two in my hand while I'm in the process of doing my mascara. Most mascaras I've used smudge quite badly when I wipe it off my nose or eyelids with a cotton bud. This mascara was so easy to get off it was unbelievable.

-How To Get The Most Out Of This Mascara-

What I did to make my eyelashes amazing with this mascara was, tip my head back and first look down to apply the mascara to the top of my eyelashes. Then I pop the wand back in the tube to pick up more mascara (do NOT pump it up and down the tube to get even coverage over the wand - this will only trap air inside the tube and make the mascara dry out quicker). Look up and, starting right at the roots of my eyelashes, apply the mascara with little wiggly movements. I also like to get the mascara on my upper waterline to make my eyelashes look thicker - if you don't want to do that you can always go back after with a pencil eyeliner and apply eyeliner to the top waterline to emphasise the thickness of the lashes. After that coat of mascara has dried I would usually go and apply another one, but it's up to you really. When I'm done with my top lashes I do my bottom lashes, but I only give them one little sweep as I don't like my bottom eyelashes looking too long or thick.

All in all, this is a great mascara and it's definitely one I'm going to be buying again when it runs out. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and I'm telling you now to go and buy it because it's the BEST ,ascara I have ever used in my entire life. I really have no idea how Maybelline will ever top this!
