Maybelline Finish Matte Pressed Powder

Newest Review: ... then holds the powder. The lid is a clear plastic with clear writing on it stating "Maybelline pure powder matte ... more

The lid doesn't actually fit on the base that well, which is why I wouldn't take it out with me in my bag because the lid could come off and spill powder, the most annoying thing with powder! This powder is 16g and isn't bulky in size and looks like you get a good amount for your money. Also, this product doesn't come with a sponge applicator, and the lid isn't actually big enough to fit the thi...more

First of all I'd like to apologise for my sloppy layout and careless spelling mistakes in previous reviews, I'm taking more care to make my reviews better and I hope that my previous reviews don't put you off my future ones. About the product- This is basically a powder used to take away shine from your face. You can use it by itself or over foundation etc. This is a pressed powder version, which you use with a sponge over your face when necessary. Packaging- The powder comes in a base where a lid fits over it, the base is made of a white plastic with metal on the inside which then holds the powder. The lid is a clear plastic with clear ...  Read the complete review

I must totally agree with the other reviewer of this prooduct this time - Maybelline have let us down with this one! I bought this pressed powder on a day where I was having major skin issues and wanted something that would just give me a tiny bit of cover and make me feel better (that's what make up is all about anyway). I didn't want to spend a fortune on a whole bottle of foundation as I am in love with my MAC and don't want to change, and didn't want to waste money on a product Id never use. You know what its like when your in a hurry? You need something like yesterday? Well that was me when I bought this pressed powder in Boots. I was somewhat 'on the hop' so I made a hurried decision and it had to be budget but credible (I am a brand snob I'm afraid). I trust Maybelline, I've used a few of their of products so I looked at the price tag first ... £4.99 and then picked my colour, Natural Beige (021) and off I went safe in the knowledge it would be ok !! Packaging.... Round in shape weighing 16g, white base and clear plastic lid that slides on , branded on the front and its recyclable. On the base it tells me that its long ...  Read the complete review
