Advantages: Price, amount you got
Disadvantages: Looked cakey, oxidised, wore off quickly
First of all I'd like to apologise for my sloppy layout and careless spelling mistakes in previous reviews, I'm taking more care to make my reviews better and I hope that my previous reviews don't put you off my future ones.
About the product-
This is basically a powder used to take away shine from your face. You can use it by itself or over foundation etc. This is a pressed powder version, which you use with a sponge over your face when necessary.
Packaging-
The powder comes in a base where a lid fits over it, the base is made of a white plastic with metal on the inside which then holds the powder. The lid is a clear plastic with clear writing on it stating "Maybelline pure powder matte finish". This is the type of packing I'd expect from a pressed powder especially at the price it was (around £3 from Boots). The lid doesn't actually fit on the base that well, which is why I wouldn't take it out with me in my bag because the lid could come off and spill powder, the most annoying thing with powder! This powder is 16g and isn't bulky in size and looks like you get a good amount for your money.
Also, this product doesn't come with a sponge applicator, and the lid isn't actually big enough to fit the thinnest sponge in it either, which is dissapointing.
The product itself-
When I applied this product, it went on quite cakey but did even out, it did take the shine away from my face but did look quite heavy (it didn't feel it though). Even though I bought the right shade (021 natural/biege) it oxidised quite badly on my skin and looked a rather unnatural colour. After around an hour, this product had let my face get shiney again and just left an unnatural (and very unconvincing) colour on my face.
What I thought-
I didn't really like this product in all honesty, I'd use it if I absolutely had to but I wouldn't buy this product again and I wouldn't take it with me anywhere for fear of it breaking up in my bag.
Summary: Didn't like it.
