This is the top selling mascara in the US and on using it is not very difficult to see why. It left my lashes long enough to touch my brow bone and beautifully glossy due to its very non-viscose formula, unlike many other types of mascara which leave lashes looking dull and brittle. Unless you are very fair you should always go for the blackest black shade. This gives lashes a lovely inky black sheen and makes the whites of your eyes look even whiter. It also looks very natural, not as in it makes your eyes look the same as before you applied mascara but as in it makes you look like you have naturally beautiful lashes, unlike many other brands which make it look like you've glued spiders to your eyelids. It is easy to apply due to the small brush which allows you to coat even the tinniest eyelashes in the corner of your eyes and when you apply it slowly and slightly push the lashes back with the brush towards the brow whilst looking down the lashes curl, giving a pretty wide-eyed look. It can sometimes clump eyelashes together but only if too much mascara is on the brush. If you wipe excess mascara off the wand on the inside of the bottle neck this is prevented and each lash is left perfectly defined, it also helps the tube last longer as well. The only real flaw of this mascara is that it is not at all waterproof, although a waterproof version can be bought though it is very bad for you lashes, so be careful not to be caught in a storm. However I see this more as a good attribute as it is very quick and easy to remove at night. It can be bought for the bargain price of £4.99 from Boots, Superdrug or any good cosmetics store and is worth every (of its very few) penny. I have tried out many other new high-tech mascaras over the years, but have never been able to find one to beat it and I frankly doubt there is one.
