I purchased this mascara from ebay for a couple of pounds plus p&p. I didn't go out of my way to choose this one, I chose it for the price. I have trouble finding a mascara I like, they either clump or have a stupid plastic wand instead of a brush or they make your eyelashes look like "a child's drawing of the sun" in the words of my brutally honest brother!! So I often buy one and then throw it away.

This one comes in a pink and green tube and various shades. I bought the brown/black as I've got fair hair. On first inspection the brush didn't seem great. It's a very old school brush that doesn't have many bristles so I didn't think it would separate my lashes enough and I'd end up with the "child's sunshine" look.

I tried it out for an evening out and amazingly it separated my lashes perfectly. I have no idea how it does this with such a basic brush but it did. It was also quite dark which is a good thing right girls? So it left me with nicely darkened, separated eyelashes. The only thing it didn't do was make them appear longer but mine are long enough anyway.

Another plus to this mascara is it works nicely on the lower lashes. I hate when the lower lashes look like spider's legs so I was pleased this didn't produce that effect.

I'll definitely buy this again, cheap and effective!
