i recently bought this waterproof mascara in brown/black shade. It cost me £4.49. I wanted to try this mascara after reading quite a few good reviews in various magazines. Apparently it is very popular with super models etc. I think the packaging is quite simple, but effective. The main body of it is a nice girly pink colour and the wand part is a very plain black. Very simple, but I think it looks good. There isn't much information on the package itself. It just tells you what it is - Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara, and that it contains 12.5ml. As for the product itself. The wand is about average sized for a mascara wand, I have seen a ... Read the complete review

I needed some new mascara and normally buy Bourjois but thought I'd give Maybelline a whirl seeing as how everyone in the press and on TV rant about how good their products are. I don't think that I have particularly sensitive eyes, but always buy hypoalergenic products anyway (I have very sensitive skin). I used it for the first time a fortnight ago. By mid afternoon my eyes were feeling sore and prickely, but I thought it was just pollution (it had been very muggy). That evening my eye lids swelled up and by the following morning I could hardly open them. The Dr said it was an allergy, but at the time I couldn't recall having worn ... Read the complete review

I love my Max Factor Masterpiece mascaras, they're absolutely fantastic and my they're my first choice when it comes to eye make-up. I've been using Max Factor mascara for years, and was reluctant to change, but at £9 a go, I was hoping I could find something cheaper as I'm trying to save money at the moment. I decided to try Maybelline's Great Lash mascara which I bought from Boots a while back with one of those '£2 off make-up' vouchers that they do now and again. It says on the backing card which the mascara comes on that this is America's No.1 mascara, which sounded impressive and I also liked that it's waterproof too. The tube stands out from ... Love my makeup...and I love having big wide open eyes, helped mostly by a good nights sleep and an effective mascara. I bought Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara from Superdrug on a 3 for 2 offer (fab deal as I got my makeup and concealer and mascara for £13, well pleased!). However not overly pleased with the results of my new mascara, the reasons for this as well as some goood points will be detailed in this review. The Product: Comes in a bright pink container with black lid making it eye catching (which is probably what drew me to it in the first place) 12.5ml in size. Usually around a fiver in price - so reasonable for a mascara as they are ... Read the complete review

I’m allergic to most makeup and it drives me mad. I can’t wear much without having half my face fall off, this makes me really cautious on trying new products. I’ve worn a few brands of mascara. Some I’ve had to stop using and others have been great for my eyes but look terrible. Where does this come? Well I’m not allergic to it, which is always a bit start. It has a nice little bright bottle, which is pink with a green lid. I don’t think I can lose the bottle ever. The lid is easy to open and out pops your nice little swirly brush. I find the mascara always collects at the bottom of the brush and won’t let you ... Read the complete review
