Advantages: Amazingly cheap!, Good for oily skin, dosn't cause spots, Good range of colours

Disadvantages: Can get a bit thick and sticky as you reach the end if you are like me and foget to shake the bottle, Packaging not that glamorous, Glass bottle tends to get a bit messy

I must admit, that at 21 I was a bit of a late starter with foundation. Having never been told how to use it before by anyone, it had always remained quite a mystery to me and I had never really felt the need to use it until recently. However, I decided that it was about time that I gave it a go. I had no idea where to start, how to find the right colour etc. but certainly, having seen lots of people around with horrible orange tidemarks, and cracking cake faces, was sure of how I did not want to look.

I had it at the back of my mind that I might embark upon the challenge at some point but was a bit frightened of asking makeup counter salespeople for advice. Also I was loath to admit to my friends my lack of experience in this area considering my expertise in the world of eye makeup. I found this product in a 'discount' shop round the corner from us that sells imported goods at cheap prices, and they were selling it for £1.75 so I thought, 'can't go wrong' and bought what looked like the nearest two colours to me.

I got home and was amazed with the results, one of them is exactly the right colour and looks fantastic, nobody even noticed that I had started to wear foundation but I did get a few 'you look nice' comments. When I ran out, I decided that since cheap foundation was so good, an expensive one would be even better, so I splashed £15 out on another make, feeling a bit more confident now about finding the right shade. I must admit that even though the shade was right the result was a disaster, exactly that crumbling cake-face look I had been trying to avoid. So the next thing I did was go back to my friendly local dispensary and bought 3 bottles for £1.75 before they run out.

I would quite happily pay 5 times this much considering how much better is compared to more expensive brands (on my skin anyway!) and I have even managed to convert one of my friends who previously only used L?Oreal products. Fantastic all round, don't be con
ned into buying expensive products presuming that price reflects quality, like I was, as sometimes this just isn't true!

I see you have written several opinions in quick succession. It is better to take more time over each opinion, so you can make it longer and more detailed and will receive higher ratings for your opinions.
